Pain perdu

  • Milk (whole): 160g
  • Eggs: 1
  • Vanilla extract: 3g
  • Cinamon: 1 pinch
  • Brown (or white) sugar: 30g
  • (Optional) Rum
  1. Cut the bread in slices.
  2. Mix milk, suggar, egg, cinamon and vanilla extract.
  3. Soak the bread.
  4. Pan on low, add butter.
  5. Cook the bread on each side for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Add a bit of brown sugar on the bread and caramelize it a bit.
